A year has passed...already gone
A year without your smile.
The minutes, hours, days rush by,
And so we pause a while.
Our memories of you are fresh
As when you lingered near.
Our longing for your company
Remains still raw and clear.
This void within our family
Continues every day.
We miss you Mom, as much right now
As when you went away.
