Jacob was born 15 weeks premature, for unknown reason. He was doing great until he was about 3 weeks old. He caught a yeast infection in his blood stream that eventually shut his kidneys down completly, shortly afterwards Jacob's little heart started to give up. It was just a very short matter of time before Jacob left us. He fought like a champ for 38 days, when mommy made the hardest decision in her life. I cut off the life support machines, and Jacob was handed to me and died in my arms.

Jacob, mommy loves you so much! I can't wait until we get to see each other again, what a joyful reunion that will be. You know that I am always thinking of you and you will always be my special little boy. I wish you were here in my arms...but know, that you will always be in my heart.
