God's Dancing Angel
One special day,
God created a beautiful soul
and wrapped it lovingly in the body of a golden star.
On March 15, 1985,
this brilliantly shining star
descended from the Heavens and graced the earth with all it's wonder.
In all God's splendor,
this beautiful soul, named Melissa,
touched the hearts and souls
of every person she encountered.
Meanwhile, up in Heaven,
a band of angels worked diligently creating a set of beautiful ivory silk wings
and a halo and dancing shoes made of the purist gold.
Once the angels had completed their mission
and the time was as God pre-determined in the Book of Life,
God reached out his loving arms
and embraced the beautiful soul that many had come to love so deeply.
Wrapped in God's warm embrace,
Melissa ascended into Heaven to take her place
as God's precious dancing angel.
With her radiating smile,
unconditional love and beautiful grace,
Melissa inspired the other angels daily,
while continuing to sprinkle her love on those she left behind.
